Ciara Walton (She/Her)
Founder and Principal Consultant, Cultural Architects, LLC
Ciara Walton is a People & Culture strategist and equity practitioner with 15+ years of experience helping organizations build workplaces that are healthier, more equitable, and built to last.
Based in Orlando, Florida, Ciara founded Cultural Architects to bring senior-level people strategy and HR leadership to mission-driven organizations and companies that need it most. Her background spans nonprofit, advocacy, and social justice sectors, including roles as Former Director of DEI at Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Interim Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief DEI Officer at Legal Aid Society of New York City.
Ciara specializes in fractional HR and CPEO leadership, organizational change management, equity-centered workplace strategy, DEI consulting, trauma-informed practices in management and leadership, and responsible AI advisory for HR teams. She partners with mission-driven organizations and founder-led companies to move beyond reactive people management toward intentional systems that center the humans most impacted by them.
She holds certifications in Prosci Change Management, IDI Administration, and Trauma-Informed Leadership, and is actively accumulating ICF coaching hours toward her professional coaching credential. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Who Is Ciara?
Florida native and local New York City resident Ciara’s passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEl) was amplified while working in Public Schools and organizing around health equity. After understanding how policy impacts change, she became an activist and grassroots organizer, advocating for high-quality K-12 education, disability rights, and civil and social justice issues.
